More students in debt !
Since 2011 we started with a simple idea: to make education accessible to everyone. We believe that education is a fundamental right and should not be limited by financial barriers. That's why we offer affordable and high-quality educational services to students of all backgrounds.
Law School Debt:
Law school graduates are saddled with backbreaking debt. According to a 2020 ABA study, more than 95 percent of American law students take on loans to finance their education, at least in part, and the average debt carried by a law graduate is upwards of $150,000. By some estimates, law students average more than five times the amount of debt of undergraduates.
"Black lawyers face numerous challenges in the legal profession, from being underrepresented to facing systemic barriers. New survey data from Bloomberg Law reveal another obstacle that Black lawyers face: paying down substantial student debt.
Law students and graduates who identified as Black reported having the most law-school-related debt, according to Bloomberg Law’s most recent Law School Preparedness Survey.
And after the US Supreme Court’s June decision to toss President Joe Biden’s initial student-loan forgiveness plan, paying down the debt isn’t likely to get easier any time soon."

Among student borrowers, women take out an average of $31,276, while men borrow an average of $29,270, according to a 2021 data analysis by the American Association of University Women.
Black women owe a disproportionate amount of student debt. They hold 43% more undergraduate debt and nearly 99% more graduate school debt than their white woman counterparts 12 months after graduation, according to an April 2022 study by the nonprofit organization The Education Trust.
